This bell is one of the most well-known bells produced in the latter Joseon Dynasty in the 11 th year of Gwanghaegun (1619), who was the 15 th king of the Joseon Dynasty and it has a height of 77cm and diameter of 59cm. The upper part is called Jongjeong and has a yong-nyu (dragon-patterned hook) and its lower part is sub-divided into gyeondae, jungdae and hadae. The yong-nyu is in the shape of double dragons that realistically depicts the active appearance of dragons. This is valuable information for studying the Joseon Dynasty and it was moved to Hyeundeungsa Temple from Bongseonsa Temple .
