Also called Domachi Valley of northernmost Gyeonggi-do, this non-inhibited valley extends continuously from the 3.8 bridge at Yongsu-dong Village from the city bus station to Jeokmok-ri, Gapyeong, and makes visitors fall in splendor at the sight of the valley along the street.
This is the only clean district in the province designated by the Ministry of Environment, and is also home to lenoks, which are natural monuments.
3km upstream from the 3.8 bridge is located a pond called Yongso with clear deep waters, and according to legend, a pregnant spotted an ascending dragon, which fell and created the pond.
Traveling up from Yongso for an hour are many small and large waterfalls and ponds, and finally there is a great waterfall. According to legend, military officers used to eat the herbs while drinking alcohol and dancing at the Mujuchae Waterfalls, which is famous for its magnificent scenery. In addition, visitors can feel the cold here even in the middle of the summer.
