This was the house of Jinam Lee Cheon-bo (1698~1761), who was famous for riding around a black cow. Lee Cheon-bo was the prime minister of the Joseon Dynasty during the reign of Yeongjo and he was famous as a literary man with outstanding writing skills.
This structure was rebuilt in the 4 th year of Gojong (1867) and was destroyed during a fire during the Korean War, leaving only the servant ' s quarters and the detached house. Unlike the flat form that appears in Gyeonggi areas, the detached house was in the shape of a ' - ' and had six partitions in the front and one and a half partitions to the south, and faced east. Its skeleton was composed of a high pillar and crossbeams, while a square beam was placed on the side to support the house rafter. This wooden structure is estimated to have been built during the reign of Gojong and the wood is relatively well arranged and the spatial configuration is also well though out.
